Moxibustion

Moxibustion heats the acupuncture spots by the combustion of dried Artemisia Vulgaris (Artemisia) leaves. (E.g. in the shape of a cigar). The heat released penetrates deeply through the acupuncture points of the body and sustains acupuncture in the regulation of the body functions. This therapy is often combined with acupuncture.
